Urban Legend (1998)
On the campus of an ivy league New England college, someone dressed like Nanook of the North is recreating urban legends and killing everyone on campus in the process.
If you’re looking for a decent fright flick, you’d be scraping the bottom of the proverbial slasher movie barrel if you pick this dreadful schlock passing for entertainment up. Outside of some nice cinematography, there is absolutely nothing redeeming whatsoever about this vile retread of a retread paint-by-numbers serial killer vehicle. Every single cliche you can imagine surfaces: the walking killer, the killer not revealed until the ending, people bumping into each other for no reason, oh my goodness the list could go on forever. Truly ungifted smart-ass actors, an abominable script, pointless direction, and not a trace of logic to be found anywhere. This garbage is so putrid, even Oscar the Grouch would have ousted it from his can.
